Fat Chicks Sweat More...

I'm having a tough time sticking to my diet. I get such cravings at night, especially for chocolate. I WANT to lose weight. I feel so great when I do, feel so great when I eat right, feel so great after I excercise. Why can't I use those great feelings after 7 pm? Why can't I get motivated to not eat after 7 pm? To snack on healthy food instead of "Cheetos" and chocolate? Ugh. If it weren't for night-time vampire feedings, I'd lose about 2 lbs per week or more. Ugh Ugh. What can I eat after 7 pm that won't make me gain weight and that will satisfy my salty & chocolate cravings?

  1. Well then I ought to be filling up bucket-loads of sweat!!

THanks for your post on my blog - very encouraging. I'm nowhere near training for a half marathon (go for it if you are!!) but I AM looking for a local 5-10 kilometre WALK that I could participate in this fall - something to motivate me to walk now and gear up for it (assuming the whole achilles thing stays ok).

Gotta run, but am lovin this conversation!

    Have a great day!!

  2. Yes, us fat chicks do sweat more. In fact, we sweat a lot. I went to a wedding recently and was embarassingly sweaty after one dance. (My husband even noticed). Oh, well. I'd rather be sweaty than a pansy-ass!! Don't you worry about losing that weight. If you do...you do...if you don't..you'll still be you and happy!

How come you don't have photos on your blog? I must have read 3 or 4 posts before I realized it.

  3. Gayle, I have no photos on my blog because I am lame and haven't taken the time to do it. I'm online after my boys are asleep and my chores are done. Then I am so tired I can't get my ars off the couch to get the camera and chord and attach them to the laptop and re-figure out how to download the photos. I was born, you see, before computers and digital cameras were alive. I'm slow at learning. I can teach 30 fourth graders how to do long-division in a week or less, but I cannot figure out computer & camera stuff, nor figure out the stock market. (:

  4. You are too funny!

I did my student teaching at South Pines in 1991 in the Resource Room. Such a long time ago. Sure wish I wouldn't have left Spokane. I loved it there. (My dad's family is up in the Deer River & Chewelah area).

  5. I totally feel your pain! The only way I can do it is to have nothing appealing in the house - sad for me. It really sucks struggling with weight, I wish I had an answer, no, I wish I had a fabulous success story to share - hopefully soon...
